About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance and Administration to serve as the chief financial officer and oversee all fiscal and business affairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the finance team in budget development, execution, and reporting, as well as establishing and maintaining internal control procedures. This role also involves managing the company's long-term investments, debt, and financial systems, and ensuring compliance with financial aid requirements. The VPFA will work closely with the President to set financial strategies, create analysis tools, and coordinate funding priorities. Additionally, the role includes supervising the facilities, human resources, information technology, and public safety teams, and serving as a resource for various Board committees. Applicants for the VPFA position at the company should have a Master’s degree in a relevant field, with a CPA or equivalent proof of accounting expertise preferred. A minimum of 7 years' of senior-level fiscal management experience, particularly in strategic planning, finance, budget, and fiscal operations, is required.
