Application Engineer/Business AnalystDuration: 6+ monthsLocation: Belle Chasse, LouisianaResponsibilities:Ability to effectively communicate, interact and build relationships with stakeholders at various organizational levels to understand needs, business priorities and digital roadmapsCollaborate with IT colleagues globally to represent Oak Points technical and business requirementsWork with developers, testers, and architects to collaboratively deliver applications, interfaces, and IT services as neededTroubleshoots and fixes errors by applying basic Oronite site application analyst knowledge and skillsApplies in-depth knowledge of business domain to develop and enhance business workflowsManages and automates application testing suitesFacilitate application releases in participating in user acceptance testing and/or coordinating with business usersEnsure all solution components are well documentedQualifications/Skills:5-7 years of relevant experienceKnowledge in IT application support and development for Chemicals, Oil and Gas.Has knowledge and/or experience in Agile Framework, Scrum, and DevOps.Technical skills and hands-on support and development experience in Azure, ADO, Power Apps, MS Office, API, SAP, Lab systems (Starlims), Inteletract, SAP, etc.
