Electrical Assembler II - 3rd Shift

Location Wendell, North Carolina, United States of America Job Title Electrical Assembler Level 2 – Production Team (Wendell, NC) Overview An Electrical Assembler is responsible for performing sub‑assembly wiring and final‑assembly wiring duties on Low and Medium Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment such as Switchgears, Switchboards and Breakers. Shift Hours 11:30 PM – 7:00 AM (third shift; you will train on the first shift before moving) Compensation Hourly Rate: $22.46 + $1.50 shift differential. Qualifications 1+ year of experience in mechanical assembly or a related mechanical field. 2+ years of experience with commercial or industry wiring. 2+ years of experience using standard hand and power tools, including pneumatic and battery‑operated tools, wiring tools, and accurately reading a tape measure. Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking). Proficiency in reading and working with schematic drawings, layouts, and wire lists with minimal supervision. Legally authorized to work in the United States without need for employer‑sponsored work authorization. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of electrical clearances. Associate’s Degree or technical training in related area. Proven record of quality and productivity. Responsibilities Perform sub‑assembly and final assembly wiring with high accuracy and workmanship, including proper stripping and crimping techniques. Work with large power cables, ensuring correct crimping methods, and assemble components on panels per layouts or drawings. Record job transactions, read BOMs, and follow layouts and assembly drawings. Use torque wrenches correctly, adhering to developed processes and seeking continuous improvement. Adhere to Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policies and be a strong team player. Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
