Job Description
Setup and programming of Wire EDM equipment to ensure proper functionality when making precision parts. Responsibilities would include: measuring, marking, and documenting dimensions of materials, program CAD/CAM (Gibbs CAM), and software applications, perform G-code programming of wire EDM machines, monitor the EDM machining process, and inspect finished products. Configuring the equipment, loading and operating the machines and optimizing the machine capabilities, oversee its maintenance, and ordering of supplies.
The minimum qualifications: high school diploma in machine trades from a technical school or community college. Experience with running and programming CNC/Wire EDM machine(s). Familiar with Gibbs CAM software is helpful but not required as we will train.
