Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Job Description Job Description Now Hiring: Medical Assistant Pay: $18.00-$18.50 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join a busy oncology practice. This role supports physicians and clinical staff by providing exceptional patient care while ensuring efficient clinic operations. Responsibilities: * Room patients and record vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication updates * Assist physicians with examinations and procedures * Perform phlebotomy and administer injections as directed * Prepare and stock exam rooms while maintaining infection control standards * Schedule appointments, diagnostic tests, referrals, and follow-up visits * Answer patient calls, assist with prescription requests, and complete administrative tasks * Support patient education and maintain accurate medical records * Assist with insurance authorizations, referrals, and obtaining outside medical records Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required * Medical Assistant certification preferred * Minimum of 5 years of Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant experience in a hospital or clinic setting * Phlebotomy experience preferred * Current CPR certification required * Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills If you have a passion for patient care and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, we'd love to hear from you.
