Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Long Term Care (LTC) | Gunnison, CO | 13-Week Contract

MTK Healthcare is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract at Gunnison Valley Health - Senior Care Center in Gunnison, Colorado .

Position Details

Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Long Term Care (LTC) / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Location: Gunnison, CO
Facility: Gunnison Valley Health - Senior Care Center
Start Date: August 3, 2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Employment Type: Travel Contract

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a Long-Term Care setting.
Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
Supervise and support nursing assistants and other care staff.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation using the PointClickCare EMR system.
Follow all facility, state, and federal regulations to ensure safe, high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) License.
Minimum of 3 years of recent Long Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience.
Current BLS (AHA or equivalent) certification.
Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check required.
Must have reliable transportation, as public transportation is not available in Gunnison.
Ability to work holidays as required.
