Automation Engineer (Playwright, Cypress, Python, PyTest, JMeter, AI Testing)

Your Impact
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, performance, and scalability of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Playwright, Cypress, Python, PyTest, and JMeter , along with experience supporting AI/ML-powered applications and Generative AI solutions .
In this role, you will collaborate with product, engineering, AI/ML, and DevOps teams to implement modern quality engineering practices, drive test automation, and ensure high-quality releases across both traditional software platforms and AI-driven applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, Python, and PyTest.
• Create and execute automated functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end test suites.
• Develop and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests using JMeter.
• Validate AI/ML and GenAI application outputs for accuracy, reliability, consistency, bias detection, and performance.
• Build automated test scenarios for AI-driven workflows, including LLM-based applications, chatbots, and intelligent agents.
• Develop test datasets and evaluation frameworks for AI model validation.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid releases.
• Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and ML engineers to identify quality risks and improve testing coverage.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and track defects through resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, release planning, and quality reviews.

Skills & Experience

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and Cypress for UI and end-to-end test automation.
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Experience building automation frameworks using PyTest.
• Hands-on experience with JMeter for performance and load testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and QA best practices.
• Experience testing REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

AI & GenAI Experience

• Experience testing AI/ML applications, Generative AI platforms, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Understanding of LLMs (Large Language Models) and AI application testing methodologies.
• Experience validating AI-generated responses for accuracy, relevance, hallucinations, consistency, and safety.
• Familiarity with AI model evaluation metrics and testing frameworks.
• Experience working with AI tools such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and AI workflow validation.
• Experience creating automated tests for AI-powered APIs and conversational applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRail.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools.
