This role supports a diverse district, providing critical assessment and consultative services to enhance both academic and behavioral outcomes for students across multiple school locations.

You’ll collaborate closely with educators and families, working to complete an average of 30-40 evaluations, utilizing your expertise to shape meaningful interventions. The contract runs through late May 2027, offering the continuity to build strong relationships and see the impact of your support firsthand.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology or a related field
• Active New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) School Psychologist License
• Demonstrated experience performing school-based evaluations
• Willingness to travel to multiple school sites within the district as needed
• Strong interpersonal and consultative abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations for referred students
• Interpret assessment results and share recommendations with school teams and families
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor individualized education plans
• Offer consultation to teachers and staff regarding strategies for student support
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
