Production Operator -Extrusion Line

Production Operator – Batching Operator Primarily responsible for setting up, mixing, and/or delivering production chemicals used in manufacturing or process area where accuracy of chemical composition is important in process operation. Learn about the needed raw materials used in batch making process Add raw and verify materials to kettles Add and verify oil weigh-up Properly perform scrapping of kettle Properly verify pigment Operate forklift as needed Stage rework Qualified candidate will possess: Positive attitude Ability to work with limited supervision Willingness to contribute to a continuous improvement environment High school diploma or GED preferred Experience in a plant/manufacturing environment, preferred Must be able to read, write, and speak English for training/safety purposes Ability to work an 8-hour shift and overtime as needed Ability to understand and communicate in English sufficiently to safely perform job duties, follow work instructions, understand safety requirements, and respond to emergency situations Must be willing to take on new assignments/job tasks as needed Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
