Position Overview

• Title: Senior Oracle Database Administrator
• Type: Direct-Hire Full-Time Opportunity
• Compensation: $95,000 $110,000 (D.O.E.) with an industry-leading benefits package
• Start Date: Immediate
• Location: Nashville, TN (on-site)

What Would Make You Stand Out

• Bachelor's degree or directly related year for year experience
• 6+ years of Oracle Database Admin experience
• 2+ years of Data Warehouse experience
• 2+ years of RedHat Linux Experience, working in command line
• 2+ years maintaining and creating Scripts (Bash or Cornshell)
• Golden Gate experience Managing implementing large number of databases from Streams
• Heavy Performance tuning
• Exposure to additional Oracle environments such as E-business, Weblogic, OEM, etc.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of a range of Database technologies
• Extensive experience implementing and maintaining Oracle Infrastructure
• Exposure to:
• Oracle Database (RMAN/DataGuard/Streams)
• Oracle Golden Gate
• Oracle Enterprise Manager
• Data Warehouse (object design, implementation, maintenance)

Job Responsibilities

• The Sr. Oracle DBA will be focused on maintaining and upgrading current Oracle infrastructure utilizing Streams, Golden Gate, Weblogic Server, etc.
• Build and maintain scripts
• Managing Redhat Linux at the command line
• Take lead on architecting and planning for new deployments and upgrades while identifying problems and implementing solutions throughout the process.
• Serve as a subject matter expert across Oracle infrastructure environments
• Be involved with design, configuration, maintenance, and all other aspects of Data Warehousing
• Provide senior-level IT support for Oracle technologies
• Engineer cost-effective solutions to meet various challenges impacting the organization.
• Develop scripts for automation and troubleshooting
• Work collaboratively across all organizational teams to accomplish business initiatives
• Lead and mentor junior members in the technology environment
