Information System Security Manager

Providing strategic oversight for system security programs, the full-time remote Information System Security Manager will serve as the primary authority for multiple classified and unclassified systems, manage the RMF lifecycle, and oversee continuous monitoring and compliance activities. Key responsibilities Lead and manage the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle across assigned systems Conduct security reviews, audits, and inspections while providing architectural guidance for secure system design Act as a liaison with Authorizing Officials and stakeholders, advising on cybersecurity risks and strategies Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field (Master's preferred) 7-10 years of cybersecurity experience, including 5+ years in an ISSM or senior security role Active Secret clearance required, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI if needed CISSP or equivalent advanced cybersecurity certification required; CASP+, CISM, or similar preferred Expert knowledge of NIST 800-53, RMF, and DoD cybersecurity policies
