Job Summary Iron Mountain is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Engineer – Media & Archival Services to join our Entertainment Services / Media Preservation team. In this role, you will be responsible for digitizing legacy and modern analog and digital audio formats, performing precise audio restoration and quality control, maintaining professional studio hardware (such as tape machines and DAWs), and ensuring strict chain-of-custody and metadata accuracy for archival media assets.What You’ll Do In this role, you will:Digitize, restore, and remediate analog and digital audio materials into high-quality digital formats, delivering detailed technical logs, asset condition reports, and preserved media for client use.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including client services, archivists, studio support staff, and clients to communicate technical progress and manage workflows.Ensure compliance with strict chain-of-custody procedures, archival metadata standards, and organizational safety policies for all media assets under care.What You’ll Bring The ideal candidate will have:3+ years of experience in audio engineering, audio restoration, or legacy media preservation.Strong knowledge of analog and digital audio formats (reel-to-reel, tape, DAT) as well as professional restoration software such as Pro Tools and iZotope RX.Proven ability in troubleshooting studio hardware and software, managing multiple preservation projects under deadline, and maintaining meticulous attention to detail.Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Music Technology, Sound Recording, Media Studies, or equivalent professional experience.What We OfferSalary details: $30/hr (Temp-to-Hire position after 1 year)Location: Boyers, PA (1137 Branchton Road)Category: Operations GroupSummaryLocation: US | PA | Boyers | 1137 Branchton RoadType: Full time
