Job Title Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR) Job Summary Join a dedicated surgical team as an Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse in Midland, Texas. This vital role is situated within an acute care hospital setting, where you will provide expert perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing a diverse range of surgical procedures. You will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the surgical experience, collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care. Key Responsibilities Prepare operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile. Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations, anticipating needs and maintaining a sterile field. Monitor patient's physiological status during surgery and respond to changes appropriately. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient assessment and education. Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room (OR) setting. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
