Registered Nurse

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for shift accountability in providing patient care. The nurse utilizes the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Critical thinking skills and scientific judgment are essential for anticipating and planning safe care delivery. Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education is a requirement. The Registered Nurse delegates patient care priorities based on staff education and experience. Providing direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care is expected.
