Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU night shift position requiring 2+ years of PICU experience and an OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) of a children's hospital
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:00 AM)
• Floating required, including to the CICU (CVPICU) and potentially to the Liberty campus
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Blocked weekend-only scheduling (FRI-SUN) may be accommodated

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required, with exposure to CICU preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric ICU patients
• First-time travelers will be considered, provided they meet the 2-year specialty experience requirement
• Full vaccination required with no exceptions
• Minimum of 2 holidays must be worked during the assignment
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and cannot exceed 5 days total
• Previous CCHMC employees are ineligible to apply within 1 year of their termination date
• Candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local
