Senior Business Data Analyst

- Working with Intuit, a global financial platform company
- Based in Bay Area, CA but remote work is acceptable
- $70 on C2C payment terms
- Role involves tackling problems in developing a virtual expert platform using analytics
- Partnering with product managers and operations managers to produce insights and reporting
- Expected to understand the business and produce data-driven output for multiple organizations
- Requires 5-8+ years of experience working with data and analytics and knowledge of statistics
- Proficiency in SQL, Data Visualization software (Qliksense, Tableau, Amplitude), and Excel needed
- Must possess excellent problem-solving skills, logic skills, and end-to-end quantitative thinking
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Ability to confidently tell stories with data, educate effectively, and motivate stakeholders to act on recommendations
- Proactive and inquisitive learner who seeks out and capitalizes on opportunities for change
- Strong organization, time management, and task prioritization skills
- Ability to adapt and flex given changing environments and priorities
- Experience in a scripting language to automate and reuse code is encouraged
- Experience in defining metrics and instrumenting data tracking
- Responsibilities include partnering with Product and Operations leaders to enable data-driven decisions, collaborating across teams to ensure scalable and effective reporting solutions, defining and standardizing metrics, reports, and dashboards, providing recommendations through statistical model generation, suggesting ad-hoc analytic questions, and establishing data quality standards.
