For more information about our people and platforms, visit us at . Job Purpose Cerberus is seeking an AVP to join our Accounts Payable team. This team is responsible for processing all payments for the firm and ensuring expenses are appropriately allocated to the management company and funds. Expense categories which are allocated to the funds relate to the funds’ operations, including legal, auditing, payroll (and benefits), consulting, research, and administration expenses. In addition, allocated expenses may include amounts for sourcing, acquiring, holding and disposing of the Funds’ investments. You will be responsible for assisting in the full life cycle of an expense including reviewing and allocating invoices in the Accounts Payable software, routing invoices through approval workflow, executing wire payments, and assisting in the expense allocation close process including preparing, reviewing, and analyzing all expenses booked, and understanding the related allocation methodologies of these expenses to the funds. Review and allocate invoices in Accounts Payable software - Basware Sort, draft, code and allocate invoices to various funds, projects, entities Liaising with payment requestor on the proper allocations Routing invoices through approval workflow Obtaining appropriate approvals/signatures as required Assist with vendor annual 1099 reporting Maintain vendor and wire instructions data in a data warehouse processing system Upload and post invoices in accounting software Business Central Reconcile cash daily and apply wires to invoices within Business Central Prepare reclass / void entries in Business Central Correspond with vendors to identify invoice or payment discrepancies, and provide payment status updates Review expense reports for out-of-pocket business expenses in Concur Review and report on high-risk employee expense reports Assist in managing employee travel program with American Express Assist with gathering daily cash support Key Requirements Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting payable principles Strong understanding of expense allocation concepts High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent management skills to handle high volume of invoices Excellent communication skills. Verbal and Written Good multi-tasking skills, ability to meet deadlines Experience in Tymetrix / e-billing legal system a plus Experience using Great Plains software, Business Objects, Data Warehouse skills a plus Confidentiality Prioritizes well Team PlayerGood interpersonal skills Thrives in a fast- paced environment The base salary for this position is expected to be between $120,000.00 and $150,000.00. The base salary offered to the chosen candidate will be commensurate with a candidate’s relevant experience and other qualifications for the position, as determined by the Company in its sole discretion.
