Shifts Available Mon - Wed: 6p - 7a Flexible Schedules Skills Required Long Term Care Private Duty Nurse LVN Experience with a G-tube, trach, and vent Ability to work with bed ridden/immobile patients Ability to work with non verbal patients Job Summary The LVN will be responsible for providing nursing care to a 21 y/o male. Client has a G-tube, trach, and vent. Patient is bed ridden, immobile, and non verbal. Responsibilities Assess and monitor the patient's condition and vital signs Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician Provide emotional support to the patient and their family Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the patient's needs are met Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records Communicate effectively with the patient, their family, and other healthcare professionals Qualifications Active LVN license in the state of Texas Experience working with non - verbal patient Experience working with immobile patient Experience working with a Hoyer lift Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Pediatric Private Duty Nursing, Inc.
