What Youll Do
Safely transport structural and miscellaneous steel loads to job sites using a variety of equipment, including flatbeds, drop-decks, gooseneck trailers, and a straight truck
Secure loads properly and ensure all delivery paperwork is accurate and complete
Plan routes and delivery schedules efficiently, balancing safety with timeliness and maintaining solid communication with the shipping coordinator
Represent DBI professionally while coordinating with jobsite personnel during deliveries
Maintain accurate logs and documentation in full compliance with FMCSA regulations and Hours of Service requirements
Assist with loading/unloading as needed, prioritize safety, maintain a clean vehicle, and follow all DOT and company protocols
What Were Looking For
Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record
2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred
Familiar with GPS/routing systems and DOT/FMCSA regulations
Strong time management, route planning, and communication skills
Positive, go-getter attitude; able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work independently
Respectful, focused, detail-oriented, and safety-minded
Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test
