As an Infection Prevention and Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing health and safety practices related to disease outbreaks. Your responsibilities will include: Consolidating, reviewing, and revising Americares' technical materials on infection prevention, control, and health worker safety. Staying updated on technical and situational developments concerning the spread of targeted diseases. Creating engaging health education materials that emphasize behavior change for diverse audiences, aligned with best practices and incorporating new insights. Preparing briefing materials and contributing to key talking points regarding outbreak responses. Assisting in the development of effective training materials. Delivering training to Americares clinical care staff and partner healthcare facilities upon request. Communicating with the Chief Medical Officer and Associate Director of Emergency Programs to identify training materials that could enhance training effectiveness.
