Senior Bridge Engineer

Looking for individuals who can/want to take full ownership of structural engineering projects and fully realize that this role is not a back-office design type of role. You will also work directly with firm leadership on project execution, client coordination, and strategic growth initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to step into a visible, leadership-oriented position within a firm that already has a strong foundation and established client base. Duties in this role: Lead structural design and rehabilitation efforts for bridge and transportation-related projects, manage coordination with agencies including NYSDOT and NYC DOT, oversee project deliverables, schedules, and technical quality, and interface directly with clients and subconsultants. Ability to mentor junior staff and support team development Contribute to proposals and support expansion of the firm’s structural portfolio Qualifications: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New York (or ability to obtain) Strong experience in structural design and/or rehabilitation of transportation infrastructure (bridges preferred) Familiarity with NYSDOT and/or NYC agency standards and processes Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate directly with clients #J-18808-Ljbffr Wiss
