Position Summary A Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience will be accountable for the day‑to‑day operations of the store and for promoting a customer‑centric environment. The Manager will lead, coach, and develop employees, recruit and retain top talent, and drive financial results through analysis of store financial statements. The role includes asset protection through inventory control, compliance with policies and procedures, and securing customer loans. The Manager will also promote the business and target new customer acquisitions using internal and external marketing tools. This position offers a competitive wage plus a performance‑based bonus and reports to the District Manager. Responsibilities Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues. Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards. Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through prescribed channels. Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensuring procedures are followed. Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, and securing customer loans. Administer processes and procedures within the store, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise‑level reporting. Evaluate the store's financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting. Ensure operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards. Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain the value and integrity of all loans issued. Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development as requested. Communicate clearly with employees to ensure they understand the store's mission and profit objectives. Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods of time, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others. Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified. Ability to assist customers on the exterior of the building as needed. Minimum age: 18 years old. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate. Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Will work 45+ hours a week; hours are not guaranteed. Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and common office machines. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills. Analytical skills. Cash handling experience required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent work ethic and strong business sense. Commission Plan Information The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash and is based on the store's monthly gross profit. Store Managers receive a commission in addition to base pay and a performance bonus. Details will be provided during the interview process.
