Help Feed the People Who Help Feed Our Community
Gleaners of Clackamas County is seeking dependable volunteers to help prepare and serve lunches for our volunteers and staff. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys cooking, working independently, and creating a welcoming environment for others.
As a Kitchen Volunteer, you'll help transform donated food into nutritious meals while supporting the volunteers who make our mission possible.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve lunch for volunteers and staff
- Brew and maintain coffee service
- Gather ingredients from designated storage areas
- Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas
- Wash dishes and put away kitchen supplies
- Help stock and organize the breakroom
- Assist with meal planning using available donated products
- Help maintain kitchen inventory and monitor food expiration dates
