Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) assignment for a 13-week contract with a consistent day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This role offers 35 guaranteed hours per week and is suited for a clinician working in a rehabilitative, SNF, or outpatient setting. The SLP will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders, focusing on improving functional outcomes and quality of life. The position emphasizes patient-centered care and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Speech-Language Pathologist experience
• Active State SLP License required
• BLS certification required
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required
• Experience in rehab, SNF, or outpatient setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Ability to manage a caseload efficiently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, providing speech and language therapy, managing dysphagia treatment, and monitoring patient progress. The clinician will document all care accurately in compliance with facility and regulatory standards. Additional duties include patient and caregiver education, collaboration with healthcare teams, and supporting discharge planning to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
