Must have a valid state-issued drivers license and safe driving record. Responsibilities include:/pulliBuilding loads for delivery and unloading freight including lumber and building supplies/liliForklift training, certification, and operation/liliMaintaining a safe, clean and well-organized lumber yard and warehouse/liliCommunicating delays or discrepancies with management/liliOther duties as assigned/liliCommunication/liliTime Management/liliForklift Operation/liliKeeps management aware of any delays or discrepancies/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pBe at least 21 years old./pulliRead and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records./liliSafely operate the assigned commercial motor vehicle./liliProvide (on an annual basis) a true and correct copy of your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and a list of violations or the certificate as required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act./liliBe physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act/liliNot be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act./liliComplete or have completed a drivers road test and has been issued a valid and current certificate of drivers road test, or its equivalent, in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act./liliDepending on the truck and/or hauler, you may be required to have a commercial motor vehicle license/liliDepending on the truck and/or hauler, you may be required to have a valid and current Medical Exam certificate or card./liliHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)/li/ulp84 Lumber Company is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
