Job Description

The CT Tech will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and assisting in patient care throughout the imaging process. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and experience to operate CT equipment safely while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
• Maintain and operate CT imaging equipment effectively.
• Accurately document patient information and imaging results in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT).
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with GE imaging equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC EHR is an advantage.
