Your future role at a glance Location: Pensacola, FL Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Medical Group Milestone Schedule: Day | Full-time | Monday - Friday from 7am - 4pm How you'll make an impact in this role Greet patients and visitors, manage the check-in and check-out process. Verify and input patient demographic data, and manage obtaining and verifying insurance authorizations and referrals. Efficiently handle medical record release requests and coordinate the scheduling and confirmation of patient appointments. Submit daily charges for procedures, and manage the collection of co-payments, including the daily reconciliation of reports and deposits. Provide flexible and reliable general administrative and clerical support to various functions within the assigned area. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable. What additional requirements you'll need Medical office experience.
