Shift & Schedule Job Schedule Details Work Days: Monday and Tuesday (2 days per week) Shift Duration: 8 hours per day (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Lunch Break: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM (1 hour) Requirements License & Certification: Licensed dental hygienist Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required. Preferences Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus. Proficiency in Eaglesoft software for dental procedures is required. Experience in performing dental hygiene procedures such as cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth. Certification in Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Analgesia is preferred. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols must be followed. Must have excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and the dental team. Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accurate patient records. Ability to work well within a team atmosphere and contribute to a positive office environment. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Conduct initial oral screenings and assess patients' oral health. Perform dental cleanings, including removing plaque and tartar. Apply preventive treatments such as sealants and fluorides. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques. Take and develop dental X-rays. Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
