Landscape ManagerThis is a working supervisory position requiring the ability to design, sell and plan landscape and tree maintenance projects.This position pay is Salary Commission with DrawsMinimum $500,000 in Landscape SalesHours: Over 45 Hours per weekEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesOversee all landscape and nursery staffTraining and onboarding of Landscape staffAll ordering and sourcing for the nursery and plant material and all materials for jobsPrice Comparisons for all material and trackingBudget for Landscaping projectsPick up and inspection of plant materialNursery Management and ensure all plant material is fit for saleWatering and management of all plant material in nurseryEnsuring all plant material is irrigated – Daily walk aroundProtecting from deerManaging insectsNutrient ManagementTagging and verifying all plant material each nightLoading all plant material each night for jobs into trucks with SkidsteerChecking into new plant material and verifying salabilityQualificationsMaster gardenerCertified HorticulturalistDegree in Landscape Design, horticulture or related fieldCertified Arborist Certification or ability to obtain within 6 monthsCertified Pesticide Applicators license or ability to obtain within 6 monthsMinimum of 1 to 3 years of participating and supervising employee operation and supervising the construction of retaining walls, installing drainage systems, bed maintenance, and operation of all related equipment.Must have valid driver's license, Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle and pull a trailerMust be able to get and maintain a valid Missouri Class B Commercial Driver's LicenseKnowledgeable in ornamental tree and shrub pruning.Physical DemandsMust be able to work and maneuver under various and at times adverse weather conditions. Read, write, and complete forms and paperwork while performing the duties of this job.The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stretch, manipulate fingers and hands, speak, listen, and lift and move weight in excess of 75 lbs.Equipment UsedSkid steer, trencher, sod cutter, chainsaws, loaders, and other landscape tools and equipment, computer landscape design programs.SkillsOral Communication Skills, Interpersonal communication skills, Written Communication Skills Organizational Skills, time management skills.
