Technical Services SpecialistThe scope and responsibilities of the Technical Services Specialist encompass the following:Technical Services DepartmentResponsible for data entry of case informationResponsible for data entry of warranty informationMaintain multiple warranty databases for productsData entry for multiple associated databases (TINA, Maximizer, etc.)Learn product lines and product applicationsReceive and validate technical inquiries from Sales, Marketing, and Education TeamsRespond to technical inquiries, with assistance from Technical Services Team, Product Development Team, Product Management, and/or Director of Technical Services when requiredDraft TINA Database entries for common questions and technical updatesMaintain administrative files with respect to deadlines and schedules of projects and activitiesParticipate in development of new, and improvement of existing, Technical Services processesParticipate in Schluter business development projects, as requiredParticipate in training as required (receiving and providing)Special projects, as requested by managementLaboratory Related ResponsibilitiesParticipate / execute laboratory testing in accordance with industry standards or as required by "custom" testingEvaluate testing data and provide reports based on resultsWork with Lab personnel and in laboratory to maintain DITRA-HEAT test equipmentSpecial projects, as requested by managementRequirementsGeneral computer skills – Email, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), databasesWorks well in a team environment as well as individuallyBasic understanding of electrical conceptsMotivated self-starterDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsStrong communication skills, written and verbalCollege degree or equivalent work experience preferredTile Installer / Construction - at least five years' experience preferredProject Management experience desiredCompany BenefitsGenerous PTO10 Paid HolidaysMedical, Dental, Vision InsuranceGuaranteed Biannual Bonuses401k with Company MatchCompany Paid Life InsuranceAnnual RaisesRoom for AdvancementCompany DescriptionSchluter Systems is a family-owned and internationally renowned company that has been rapidly growing over the last 10 years.
