Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry/PCU position requiring a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience and an active NH or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry and PCU unit
• Adult med/surg, PCU, and cardiac and med/surg telemetry patient populations
• Schedule consists of 3x12-hour varied shifts per week
• Defined workweek runs from Sunday at 12:01 AM through Saturday at 11:59 PM

Requirements

• Active NH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
• Strong Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Strong mathematical, analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Additional Information

• Responsible for delivering direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process across all assigned areas
• Performs patient assessments upon admission including medical history, vital signs, lab work, and diagnostic test review
• Participates in the planning and implementation of written care plans under physician direction
