To learn more about UCI Health, visit Your Role on the Team Position Summary The Telemetry registered nurse provides direct patient care, in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, to assigned patients in the Telemetry units. The registered nurse is supportive, compassionate, efficient, detail-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal skills and who collaboratively maintains plan of care for the vulnerable patients. Required Qualifications What It Takes to be Successful All External candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Current California RN license Current American Heart Association BLS certification Current American Heart Association ACLS certification Initial Dysrhythmia Recognition within 90 days of hire Minimum Experience: Recent acute care experience Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms Total Rewards We offer a wealth of benefits to make working at UCI even more rewarding.
