Lead Server/Dining Room Manager for Assisted Living Facility

Starling is looking for a lead server to help our Culinary team shine at The Grove at Canopy. The ideal candidate will help motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service in a rewarding environment, while ensuring efficient restaurant operation. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Excellent communication skills. Good interpersonal skills and abilities. Become the liaison between the kitchen and the front of the house. Assist with recruiting, training and development programs for all staff. Monitor employee dress code. Perform Dining Room opening and closing duties, and ensure all servers are trained to perform. Attend management and staff meetings. Interact with Residents by answering questions, solving problems, overseeing services, taking reservations and introducing him or herself to prospective Residents on tours. Undertake special projects as requested. Respond efficiently and accurately to Resident complaints. Organize and supervise Front of the House team member shifts. Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity. Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures. Skills Proven work experience as a lead server or similar role in high volume atmosphere for a minimum of 2 years. Proven customer service training experience.
