General Manager

The General Manager (GM) is the strategic and operational leader of the restaurant, responsible for driving overall performance, profitability, and guest satisfaction. This role oversees all day‑to‑day operations, leads a high‑performing management team, ensures food‑safety and operational compliance, and cultivates a positive culture that supports team development, engagement, and consistent execution of brand standards. Responsibilities As the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all staff, budgets, and operations of our local Burger King. ensuring all daily activities run smoothly and efficiently. The responsibilities include formulating an overall strategy, managing people, and establishing policies. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping our people develop and be productive while ensuring our profits are on the rise. Ultimately, you’ll help our company grow and thrive. Requirements A minimum of 2 years of General Management experience, currently, in the QSR industry is required. MSc/MA in Business or relevant field, preferred. Availability to work within opening hours (e.g., evenings, holidays, weekends): The expectation is to work at least 2 Sundays, two mid-shifts (11 am -9 pm), and one closing shift (3 pm – 12 am) per month. Entrepreneurial mindset, business development, and strategy implementation knowledge. Strong leadership and decision-making skills. Ability to sell, manage, and drive growth. Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds. ServeSafe Certification preferred (training may be provided). Physical Requirements Frequently lift and carry items up to 70 lbs. Stand for extended periods (up to an entire shift) Bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull regularly for operations, stocking, and equipment use Use ladders occasionally for maintenance checks Work in varying environments including hot kitchen areas and walk‑in coolers/freezers Operate POS systems, kitchen equipment, computers, and other standard devices Communicate clearly with employees, guests, vendors, and leadership teams Benefits Competitive compensation and eligibility for a performance bonus – we aim to recognize your dedication and hard work.
