SVP Payments Technology

Job Description: A growing financial institution with under $250 billion in AUM seeking an SVP- Global Payments Transformation to lead the strategy, modernization, and execution of enterprise payment technologies. This role will oversee payment transformation initiatives, enhance operational efficiency, and support innovative domestic and international payment capabilities.Location: NYC or Los Angeles, CASalary: Up to 270k base + bonus Visa sponsorship is NOT AVAILABLEResponsibilities: Develop and execute the organization's payments modernization strategy Lead implementation of payment technologies, including cross-border payments, real-time payments, APIs, and modern payment messaging standards Partner with Technology, Operations, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Product, and external vendors to deliver scalable, secure payment solutions Evaluate emerging technologies, including digital assets and blockchain-enabled payment capabilities Drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance, risk management, and payment resiliency Monitor industry trends and advise leadership on payment innovation opportunitiesQualifications: 12+ years of experience in payments, banking technology, fintech, or financial services Expertise in payment operations, payment infrastructure, international payments, and enterprise technology implementations Experience leading large-scale transformation programs within regulated financial environments Strong knowledge of payment architecture, APIs, compliance, fraud prevention, and operational controls Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage strategic vendor relationships, and influence executive stakeholders Leadership experienceKeywords: Payments technology, SWIFT, ISO 20022, FX, treasury, digital modernization Qualified candidates, please send your resume to Hazem Kamal, View email address on click.appcast.io | For more opportunities, please visit
