Reliable Health Care Services is seeking caring and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support children and youth at Child Haven in Las Vegas. Child Haven is Clark County's emergency shelter, providing a safe, structured, and supportive environment for children from birth through 18 years of age who may have experienced abuse, neglect, or other circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct CNA-level care, supervision, and support to children from birth through 18 years of age in a residential shelter setting. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, bathing and showering, grooming, dressing, toileting, diapering, oral hygiene, and age-appropriate mobility assistance. Provide one-on-one (1:1) care and supervision as assigned based on the individual needs of the child, including children who are nonverbal or require additional developmental or behavioral support. Support children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences in accordance with established care plans, individual needs, and clinical guidance. Assist with personal hygiene and continence needs, including changing diapers or protective garments and changing soiled clothing and linens as needed, while maintaining the child's dignity and privacy. Observe and communicate changes in behavior, mood, appetite, sleep patterns, skin integrity, or overall well-being to appropriate staff. Maintain a clean, safe, structured, and supportive environment in accordance with infection control, safety, and child-protection protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:

Nevada CNA license in good standing. Experience and comfort working with children from birth through 18 years of age, including children with autism, other neurodevelopmental differences, and varying developmental and behavioral support needs. Comfortable providing hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, diapering, bathing and showering, toileting, personal hygiene, and changing soiled clothing and linens. Comfortable providing one-on-one (1:1) care and supervision as assigned, including supporting children who are nonverbal or require higher levels of personal care and supervision. Ability to remain calm, professional, patient, and compassionate in emotionally complex or challenging situations. Successful completion of all required drug screening, background checks, and clearances associated with working in a child welfare environment.
