Office Engineer (Raleigh)

JohnMoriarty & Associates of Virginia (JMAV) is seeking a full‑time Office Engineer (PE) in the Raleigh area. The OE will assist with scheduling, procurement, subcontractor coordination, document management, and project logistics. The OE should be located within a daily driving distance of the Raleigh area and can expect to travel between different job sites as needed. The Office Engineer will work closely with the PM and site team on a wider range of tasks, including: Management of assigned trades in all facets of preconstruction to include quantity take‑offs, preparation of bid packages, and buy‑out Maintain relationships with clients, designers, and consultants Assisting with submittals, RFIs, and change order processing Communicating with subcontractors and vendors Education: 4‑year degree in Construction Management or relevant subject required. Work Experience: 0‑2 years of project management experience, in Construction is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Highly organized with attention to detail Physical Requirements: This position will require moderate physical activity Driving between sites, climbing stairs and ladders, walking on rough terrain, standing for extended periods of time Onsite, outdoor work in all weather conditions; moderate to loud noise exposure John Moriarty & Associates of Virginia participates in E‑Verify for all hired employees.
