BENCH GRINDER – Day Shift
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift Start: 5:00 AM
Training Schedule: Monday–Friday
Industry: Aerospace Manufacturing

 

Position Summary

We are seeking a Bench Grinder to join our aerospace manufacturing team on the day shift. This position is responsible for grinding, deburring, and finishing precision aerospace components to meet customer specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate has previous experience in production, metal finishing, or a manufacturing environment and is committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced setting.

 

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate bench grinding and finishing equipment to remove burrs and excess material from aerospace components.
• Grind, smooth, and finish parts according to engineering drawings and quality specifications.
• Perform visual inspections to identify defects and verify part quality.
• Use measuring tools and gauges as needed to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain production standards while following established work instructions.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
• Report quality concerns or equipment issues to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and manufacturing processes.

 

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production, metal finishing, grinding, deburring, or manufacturing required.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work the scheduled day shift.
