Assistant General Manager

The Assistant General Manager will support the General Manager in promoting an environment of diversity and acceptance while creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for members. The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is an extension of the General Manager and will preside over operations when the General Manager is not physically present. The AGM maintains a culture that provides members with an unparalleled experience and a work environment where team members can thrive. The Assistant General Manager motivates, leads, supervises, and coordinates the activities of team members who serve members at the membership counter. The Assistant General Manager demonstrates mastery of all company-wide policies and initiatives to ensure the integrity of the brand. Job Summary Administration and Organizational Responsibilities Demonstrate working knowledge of all standard operating procedures and policies. Assist the General Manager in communicating and implementing company policies and procedures. Encourage staff to work as a team and be productive. Take decisive action when necessary. Proactively recruit, interview, and hire talented team members. Sales Management Lead, motivate, and manage a sales team. Work with the team to achieve desired revenue targets, measured through KPIs, by motivating sales staff. Ensure the team maintains proper tracking of leads. Emphasize the importance of staff involvement in the community and neighborhood businesses, and recruit new local businesses into partnership programs. Operational Responsibilities Support personnel-related problems or difficulties by following company procedure and documentation. Resolve customer complaints in an expeditious and tactful manner. Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care offered to customers. Ensure the facility meets standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security. Report and ensure promptly repair of malfunctioning equipment. Assist in the processing, submission, and approval of payroll. Employment Eligibility All applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED). Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States under state and federal requirements and maintain eligibility throughout employment.
