Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year, serving 3rd through 5th grade students through both push-in and pull-out models. Located in a supportive setting near Rochester, MI, this role is designed for professionals passionate about fostering growth and achievement among students with significant cognitive, developmental, and/or behavioral disabilities.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening
- Experience working with elementary-aged students highly preferred
- Commitment to creating an inclusive, positive classroom environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to support students’ academic and developmental needs
- Design and implement IEPs collaboratively with school staff and families
- Utilize push-in and pull-out methods to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate records on student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Actively collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Foster a supportive, respectful, and stimulating learning environment for all students
