Superintendent II (Traveling)

Leopardo is looking for a Superintendent II to join our team as a traveler. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Coordinate daily subcontractor, foremen, and self-perform activities Initiate a project quality plan to monitor initiatives, document associated observations and ensure compliance to work quality standards Verify field conditions by conducting daily jobsite walkthroughs in addition to daily safe work plans and toolbox talks Monitor the detailed master schedule, create two‑week look ahead, and track critical dates of all activities affecting the project completion Coordinate and participate in pre‑construction, weekly, and post‑construction meetings Review construction documents, maintain on‑site and in PlanGrid Generate pre‑punch and punch lists, determine responsible subcontractors and ensure timely completion Additional Responsibilities Build and nurture relationships with clients/owners, architects, developers, and subcontractors Actively promote Leopardo through participation in presenting new projects Assist in recruiting and training efforts Education / Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree from four‑year college or university in construction, engineering, architecture or related fields preferred and/or equivalent training and experience 5+ years of supervisory experience as a construction Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent and a clear understanding of the business side of construction Comprehensive understanding in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling and cost control; a knowledge of the market is required. Proven record of success on singular mid‑sized projects ($1-5M) or multiple small‑sized projects concurrently. Experience in the healthcare, retail and/or hospitality markets preferred Thorough understanding in construction technologies such as scheduling software (Raken), Bluebeam, PlanGrid and associated construction software. Target base salary range: $130-145k. This position is eligible for annual discretionary bonus and vehicle allowance.
