Are you passionate about coffee and love creating exceptional customer experiences? Cotton Cake Japanese Cheesecake, located in Troy, MI, is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. If you have a knack for crafting the perfect cup of coffee and enjoy working in a warm, welcoming environment, we’d love to meet you!
What You'll DoAs a Barista at Cotton Cake Japanese Cheesecake, you'll be at the heart of our café, delivering top-notch service and delicious beverages to our customers. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages with precision and care.
- Assisting customers with their orders and providing recommendations for our signature Japanese cheesecakes.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is in top working condition.
- Collaborating with team members to create a friendly and efficient environment.
- Handling cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly.
We’re searching for someone who brings both skill and personality to the role. Here’s what we’d love to see:
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a café or coffee shop setting.
- Customer Service Skills: A friendly, approachable demeanor and a genuine desire to make customers feel welcome.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow recipes and prepare beverages consistently to our high standards.
- Team Player: Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to support their coworkers.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and managing multiple tasks at once.
