Structural Aircraft Mechanic

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is needing an Structural Mechanic that will support the inspection, repair, modification, and modernization of UH-60 Black Hawk aircraft in a production and maintenance environment. This individual will perform structural work on aircraft components and airframes, including fabrication, installation, removal, and replacement of structural assemblies. The role works closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure aircraft modifications are completed in accordance with technical data, engineering drawings, and aviation standards. This position is hands-on and ideal for candidates with rotary-wing aircraft structural experience, particularly on Black Hawk platforms.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of aircraft structural repair or modification experience

• Experience supporting UH-60 Black Hawk aircraft preferred

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals

• Experience with aircraft sheet metal, fabrication, and structural assembly

• Knowledge of aviation maintenance procedures and safety requirements

• Experience using precision measuring equipment and aircraft maintenance tools

• Ability to perform structural inspections and document discrepancies

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production or MRO environment
