This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care in accordance with accepted practice standards. The position requires independent nursing functions, patient education, treatment planning, and documentation, with the potential for floating to other departments within scope of competency when needed. Responsibilities Provide bedside nursing care to neonatal patients. Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans. Document patient data, interventions, and outcomes accurately. Educate families and provide emotional support. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members. Float to other departments within nursing scope as requested. Qualifications Association of Science in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited School of Nursing. Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. At least 1 year of relevant neonatal nursing experience. Bachelor's degree of Nursing (preferred). Neonatal-specific certifications (preferred). Schedule & Additional Information Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. May be required to float to other departments based on business needs. May be placed on call during scheduled shift.
