Med Surg Float Pool Nurse D/N Faulkner

Job Summary Site: Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, Inc. Schedule: 36 hours per week, Day/Nights (3)-12 hour shifts, weekend and holiday rotation. The role is part of the Med Surg Float Pool where the RN provides care across multiple units, building versatility and adaptability. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning and providing patient care for assigned patients in accordance with nursing standards. The RN demonstrates initiative, knowledge, and clinical skills, and assumes full responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. They also practice the Patient and Family Centered Care Model. Qualifications BSN required Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required Membership in a professional nursing organization preferred Good interpersonal and communication skills Basic analytic thinking to care for a group of patients Observational skills and ability to set priorities Adherence to all I.C.A.R.E. standards Pay and Benefits $41.36 - $100.00 per hour.
