Job Summary:
The labor and delivery department in Brighton, Colorado is seeking a registered nurse. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires providing patient assessments, health teaching and counseling, planning and administering therapy and treatment, and executing delegated medical functions.

Job Details:

• Location: Brighton, Colorado
• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school of nursing; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association; (ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications as appropriate for the unit or service); Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need; may be required to be placed on-call during a scheduled shift.
