Job Title: Construction Laborer - Electrical Helper

1st Shift / $22-$28 based on overall experience

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated construction laborers for wire pulling Cat 6/OSP in a challenging outdoor environment. The role involves working 12-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with a high possibility of Saturday work. This position requires adaptability to work in hot conditions while maintaining high productivity.

Responsibilities

• Pull Cat 6 and OSP wires in an outdoor environment.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively.
• Measure and cut wires with precision using tape measures.
• Assist in copper wire pulling tasks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA 10 standards.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in construction tasks and use of power tools.
• Experience with hand tools and tape measures.
• Knowledge of low voltage wiring and cable installation.
• Understanding of OSHA 10 safety standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Fiber experience is a plus.
• Previous experience as an electrical helper is advantageous.
• Certification in low voltage wiring is preferred.

Work Environment

This position requires working outdoors in a construction setting, adapting to varying weather conditions. The work involves extended hours and the use of construction equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgeport, AL.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
