Product Owner

Ahava Services is seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to provide strategic product ownership, business architecture, and functional leadership for a large-scale enterprise modernization initiative built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related Microsoft technologies. In this role, you will be the key link between business stakeholders, Product Management, technology teams, enterprise and solution architects, developers, QA, operations, and implementation partners. You will turn business strategy, operating model goals, and stakeholder needs into product roadmaps, prioritized backlogs, future-state processes, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable business outcomes. You will also help mature product management practices by aligning strategy with execution, building strong backlog and governance practices, and making sure Dynamics 365 solutions support business operations, integration needs, compliance requirements, and long-term organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Support product vision, scope, roadmap, and delivery across enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities, program objectives, and modernization goals. Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, stakeholder needs, dependencies, delivery priorities, and available resources Translate business needs and capabilities into clear epics, features, user stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation. Facilitate backlog refinement and requirements discussions to clarify scope, priorities, dependencies, assumptions, and expected business outcomes. Assist in the Modernization of Integrated Eligibility System (IES) and Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS). Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Management, IT, operations, development, testing, and other delivery teams to maintain alignment throughout the product lifecycle. Support current-state and future-state process analysis, operating model improvements, requirements traceability, and alignment of business capabilities with product and technology roadmaps. Participate in Agile delivery activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, demonstrations, release planning, UAT, and business validation activities. Maintain appropriate product governance and stakeholder communication by tracking requirements, changes, risks, dependencies, priorities, decisions, and delivery progress across related workstreams and business areas. Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years as a Product Owner on complex, multi-domain enterprise initiatives, with a track record of driving product vision and delivering measurable business outcomes Proven ability to align product strategy with execution through backlog management, prioritization, and translating business capabilities into epics, features, user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria Experience in Integrated Eligibility System (IES) and Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) implementation. Strong experience defining product scope, workflows, and business requirements, and supporting operating model evolution through process definition and workflow improvement Experience establishing product governance, including backlog traceability, requirements management, and alignment with program goals and compliance requirements Hands-on Agile/Scrum experience (backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, release planning) using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools Strong understanding of the SDLC, including supporting UAT and validating delivered functionality against requirements and acceptance criteria Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, Product Management, IT, operations, technical, and leadership teams Other Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting multi-module enterprise rollouts and operating model alignment. Experience aligning enterprise capabilities with product and technology roadmaps, implementation sequencing, and funding models. Experience supporting large-scale modernization, transformation, or enterprise application initiatives. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, or comparable enterprise business platforms. Experience working in public-sector or government implementation environments. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Azure DevOps, Jira, or comparable product delivery practices and tools. Relevant Product Owner or Agile certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or equivalent are preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ahava Services
