General Warehouse Associate / Driver

Job Description

Locally owned small business looking to hire for warehouse/driver position. Full time warehouse based with one to two days per week on average driving our box truck to deliver palletized orders to local customers.

We are looking for someone:

Safe and Reliable

Proficient in English

Able to work in a team as well as alone

Able to lift boxes of up to 55 lbs regularly

Clean driving record (Non CDL)

Forklift certified preferred

Proficiency with iPad for order entry and accuracy

Able to start quickly

Duties include:

Unloading LTL and occasional FTL shipments

Unpacking/packing pallets

Loading Vans/puckups with pallets/boxes

Order fulfillment via UPS Small parcel

Utilizing our app based order management system

Maintaining a safe and clean work space

Driving forklift - electric only in our warehouse

Driving box trucks - 16' and 26'

Centrally located off NW Yeon Ave in Portland, Modern Surfaces is a flooring distributor focused on the PNW. Looking for a dedicated, safe, responsible person to help our team manage our sustained growth. If you bring a hard work ethic and willingness to learn, we are willing to train the right person.
