VDC Coordinator

Overview Our client is a leading electrical contracting firm that has an immediate need for a VDC Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have started their career as a commercial electrician and transitioned into a CAD role, or have direct experience performing modeling for a commercial electrical contracting firm. Responsibilities Follow directions from VDC Managers and Project Leads to model all electrical components in Revit. Develop and maintain detailed electrical models in Revit based on Contract Drawings, Specifications and NEC requirements. Coordinate electrical systems with all other trade partners using Navisworks and Autodesk Forma. Create highly detailed shop, install and prefabrication drawings for field and prefab use. Maintain accurate as-built models throughout the life of the project. Qualifications 2+ years of modeling experience with Revit. Experience with modular construction and prefabrication processes.
